An iconic mid-century sideboard from the renowned Scottish maker A.H. McIntosh, designed by Tom Robertson as part of the highly regarded Dunvegan range in the late 1960s.
 
Celebrated for its refined proportions and understated detailing, the Dunvegan range represents McIntosh at its most resolved—balancing practicality with elegant, architectural form.
 
This example features a well-considered configuration of three drawers to the left, a central double-door cupboard, and an additional cupboard to the right, offering generous and versatile storage.
 
The design is elevated by its sculpted base, with gently tapered legs and subtle shaping that creates a sense of lightness beneath the cabinet. Integrated handles and softly rounded edges are hallmarks of Robertson’s work, reflecting a commitment to both craftsmanship and usability.
