Returns Policy

All of our Mid Century & Vintage items are previously owned, and like all of us they will have some imperfections. We aim to show these as clearly as possible through detailed photos and honest descriptions.

If you have any questions, would like additional photos, wish to book a video call, or prefer to view the item in person, please feel free to contact us—we’re always happy to help.

​

If we have missed anything major (for example, structural damage that prevents the item from functioning as intended) and you wish to return it, we offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Please note that transaction fees, as well as delivery and return courier fees, are non-refundable and will be the responsibility of the client.

 

Please take the time to carefully review the images and descriptions before purchasing. We do not accept ‘change-of-mind’ returns, and all items are sold as-is.

Sydney CBD < 40km: $315

Brisbane CBD < 40km: $375

* Delivery costs are calculated at checkout, and include packaging materials, GST, and transaction fees.

If you require delivery to an area not listed, please contact us—our courier partners service most of Australia, including Tasmania.

If you wish to use your own courier or collect your item in person, please select the FREE COLLECTION option at checkout.

Shipping Policy

COURIER GUIDELINES​​

At The Artz Collection, we use a small group of trusted third-party couriers for deliveries.

 

STANDARD DELIVERY

One-person, van-based service

Drop-off to the premises only

No stairs or lifts

Client assistance may be required to unload the item

 

Couriers are not responsible for carrying items inside the home.

​

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

If you require a two-person team, stair or lift access, or additional assistance, please notify us before booking.
Additional fees may apply..

 

SCHEDULING & CHANGES

A delivery day will be confirmed in advance.

Delivery windows are provided on the morning of delivery.
Clients must give 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes.

Late cancellations may forfeit the delivery fee.

 

IF YOU ARE NOT HOME

If the courier arrives and you are unavailable:

  • The courier may leave the item at their discretion,

  • Charge waiting fees, or

  • Return the item to our warehouse.

All additional courier costs are the client’s responsibility.


If delivery is refused, the item will be returned to the warehouse and the client must organise their own collection.

 

LIABILITY & INSURANCE

As all deliveries are completed by third-party couriers, The Artz Collection cannot be held liable for any loss or damage that occurs during transport.

If you require insurance or additional cover, it is the client’s responsibility to arrange this directly with the courier service.

​

Collection & Storage

Clients can opt to collect their purchase or use their own courier. 

​

Please check that your payment has cleared prior to booking your collection. We request that collection are booked 48 hours in advance to avoid disappointment. 

​

Deliveries or collections need to be within 7-10 days of purchase. Please contact us if you wish us to keep the item for more than 7 days to avoid incurring additional storage fees.

Privacy Policy

We do not share client data with third-party vendors, and we take care to ensure your information is encrypted and protected through our systems.

​

To complete your delivery, however, we must share essential information (name, contact number, and delivery address) with courier partners.


Only necessary details are ever provided.

As a small business, we incur significantly higher merchant fees on Klarna, PayPal, and Afterpay (often 4-6%).
Where possible, we appreciate payments via bank transfer or debit card, as it helps us keep costs down (and let's be real, it's not like the the banks need more money!)
