A beautifully proportioned mid-century sideboard by Dalescraft, an English maker known for producing well-crafted pieces in relatively limited numbers during the 1960s. Less commonly seen than many of its contemporaries, Dalescraft furniture is valued for its quality construction and refined, understated design.
 
Crafted in teak, the piece features a clean, linear form softened by subtle detailing and a rich, even grain throughout. The layout offers a practical combination of four drawers and a drop down cupboard, providing versatile storage suited to both living and dining spaces.
 
Raised on an elegant sculptural base with gently curved supports, the design achieves a sense of lightness while maintaining strong visual presence—an excellent example of mid-century craftsmanship with a distinctive edge.
 
This piece will be fully restored in our workshop prior to sale. All joinery will be checked and secured, and the timber carefully refinished to enhance the natural character of the grain, ensuring it is ready for everyday use.
