A refined set of six mid-century dining chairs by Alpa Furniture, an Australian maker known for producing well-crafted, understated pieces during the 1960s. While less widely documented than some of the larger manufacturers of the period, Alpa furniture is recognised for its solid timber construction and clean, Scandinavian-influenced design.
 
Crafted from solid teak, these chairs feature elegant proportions with gently sculpted frames and tapered legs, highlighting the quality of the material and workmanship.
 
Each chair is restored to order in our workshop. This includes new foam, new webbing, and a full structural check—any loose joinery is glued, repaired, and the frames are carefully polished to bring out the natural grain.
 
Upholstery is fully customisable. You can retain the existing fabric if desired, or select from our range of textiles to create a tailored finish.
 
A considered, made-to-order option—combining original mid-century craftsmanship with the comfort and longevity of a fully restored piece.
