Mid Century Three Drawer Desk by F.W.Griffiths - Solid Timber
What a magnificent piece of Australian history!
Built to last out of solid Myrtle, custom made by Melbourne based furniture maker, F. W. Griffiths on the 27th of May 1959 for the State Bank of Victoria
Commercial grade construction, not surprising that this piece still looks this good after many years of daily use. Three drawers with fashionable handles.
A handy slide out top shelf for added working space, and the original maker's mark with manufacturing date.
In excellent vintage condition. Lovingly restored by our team to last another generation. Small imperfections here and there with slight signs of use inside the drawers.
