Standis Furniture Mid Century Sideboard in Teak - fully restored

Australian made Sideboard manufactured by well renowned Standis Furniture (visible makers mark).
 
The Standis Furniture style was strongly influenced by Danish design as evident in the timber instert pull handles, the solid timber edging and frame with veneer finish, and shape of the tapering legs. 
 
A unique piece of cabinetry with incredible grain configuration! 
 
Gorgeous fiddleback veneer cut along the top and crown cut veneer along the drawer fronts. We especially love the equisite grain configuration inside the cabinet doors.
 
A well designed sideboard of superior quality with three vertical doors and a chest of four drawers to the right. To the far left a handy pull out wine/drink bottle dispensing tray accompanied by a single drawer for your bar accessories.
 
The double doors open up to display a very tidy and deep cabinet. Ample storage with a removeable and height adjustable shelf. This could easily fit records when the shelf is removed. Alternatively store your books, glassware, or crockery.
 
The drawers to the right offer more storage - tidy and they glide open.
 
This piece has been constructed from imported Asian Teak & Teak veneer timber on solid timber edging and frame. Sits on a pedestal base with tapered legs.
 
Fully restored and freshly refinished, hand sanded and new top coat applied using our favourite natural hard wax oil - Osmo. Good for humans and good for the planet. Overall excellent and near perfect condition, all mechanisms work beautifully and the frame and legs are sturdy.
