For Mid Century lovers, Parker Frniture needs very little introduction. But we like a good story and we've inlcude a little bit of information about Tony Parker at the end of our description. 
 
We purchased this item in the hope of restoring the table top, but alas, looks like the person attempting  a restoration had sanded right through the veneer top. We had two options, send this beauty to the tip or complete a labour of love. Obvisouly, we chose the latter.
 
So meet The Parker Table 2.0 with a solid timber table top. 
 
We replicated the shape and design of the original table top and we're pleased with teh final result. In fact, some would coinsider the solid timber table top an improvement on the veneer finish. 
 
Now ready for a new home, this table is in excellent condition. Minor signs of aging, no visible tears or damage to the rattan base.
