Mid Century 'Floating Table Top' Coffee Table with Magazine Rack

Why is it that a coffee table has such a huge impact on the way we perceive and use our living space?
 
When a coffee table is too big for the space, then you can never quite get comfortable, can you? You always feel like your bumping into something. When it's too small, then you find that the room feels a little sad, almost neglected. A coffee table can be such a central point to the room, and the right one does seem to bring everything together. 
 
I can see this coffee table finding a home in an elegant open space, bringing together all the dfferent grains and tones of the timber floors and furniture.
 
The design of the frame is light and airy, and the table top seems to float above the frame. The magazine rack sits below made out of slender curved timber slats. 
 
The table top is near perfect condition - protected by a beautiful glass top - you are however welcome to remove the glass and use without if that is your preference. 
 
Immaculate condition, this Getner Coffee table (with original maker's mark) will not dissapoint. Some very small marks and scratches from general use.
