A superbly designed easy to the eye coffee table No. 44 in teak by Severin Hansen Jr. His very well known construction of the table joints became his signature throughout his designs. This piece of furniture has a minimalistic use of lines which combined with the sedated lining of the teak wood allows it to do well in any modern interior.This showpiece is manufactured by Haslev Møbelsnedskeri. 
 
Brazilian rosewood has been illegal to harvest since 1961 and on the U.N. CITES list of endangered species since 1992. These beautiful Rosewood pieces are rare and there are only a handful of these beauties still available.
 
This elegantly designed this beautiful table has some of the most intricate grain configuration we have ever seen. 
 
We love how the legs taper upward to gracefully join the table top. There is an added feature to this table - a pull extension draw leaf for additional table top space.
 
The perfect space for families that enjoy spending time together during the holidays. A great space for board/card games or building puzzles.
 
The added extension is also handy for those occasions when you have a large gathering and need a little bit of extra table top space, or if you have a very long sofa or seating area. 
 
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minor faults. Professionally restored using a selection of hand tools with a hard wax finish. Small imperfection - see close up.
