Another incredible piece by Soledad Galván.
 
We adore her use of vibrant colours and texture she creates with the incredible use of  her brush. She manages to keep you captivated in this piece with her composition - especially her clever placement of  bright colours to encourage eye movement across the canvas.
 
Soledad describes the work as follows:
 
"AMAZONIA appears as a female representation of strength, courage, and intuition. Amazonia represents the healing power of the earth through colors and mixtures of movement and feelings.
 
If you look at the Amazon jungle from the sky, you will see this monstrous river that crosses 9 countries and looks like a huge piece of art, this is my tribute."
 

 
The work is made from Acrylic on strected canvas with a floating frame (frame included in price).
 
 
About the Artist:
 
Soledad was born in Patagonia, a windy, dry and cold area in Argentina. Her mother, who was a plastic artist, cultivated her passion for art from a very young age. When Soledad was younger her family moved around a lot, due to the nature of her father's work. As a result she has found a lot of inspiration from ever changing her surroundings. She has since travelled to numerous destinations around the world and lived in Argentina, London, Colombia and now Australia. 
 
We are truly honoured that Soledad has allowed us to showcase her work and sell this beautiful piece via our online store. We particularly love her abstract work. Her brush strokes are amazing and her use of colour is inspiring.
 
Soledad's abstract work is layered and textured, and she would often work on a particular piece of art for 2 to 3 weeks to get the desired results.
