Danish Deluxe 'Inga' Lounge Chair/ Armchair

How can one identify the best furniture designers of the 20th century? Go study the chair designs of the last century and you'll find your answer! 
 
Chairs have a very personal and artistic touch, and often embody the personality of the designer. Their elemental simplicity make them the perfect canvas and offer endless possibility for an artist to express themselves. 
 
In addition to that, chairs have to carry our whole weight, need to be functional and practical, and on top of that, comfortable. To create an easthetically pleasing piece of furniture whilst achieving all of those requirements takes some doing!
 
So let me introduce you to one of my favourite Australian designers of the 20th Century - Danish Deluxe. 
 
This gorgeous Danish Deluxe 'Inga' lounge chair is constructed from solid blackwood timber. We have replaced the seat cushions and reupholstered them in a gorgeous textured fabric in a chocolate and mocha weave. 
 
A very comfortable seat indeed! All round in exceptional vintage condition with minor signs of use. Newly upholstsred with fresh set of seat and back cushions. New webbing along the backrest. The fabric is soft and smooth to the touch, the cushions are firm and the frame is sturdy.
