Chiswell MCM Teak Dining Table (1) and Chairs (6)
A magnificent dining set by Chiswell Furniture, circa 1960s.
The set comprises of a dining table with a single extension leaf, and six matching chairs in black vinyl upholstery. The table comfortably seats 6 people when unextended, and could seat 8 people when extended.
The frame and legs of the table and chair frames are solid teak timber. The table top is a beautiful fiddleback veneer cut with an intrictae grain pattern that reflects the light from different angles.
The set is in near perfect condition. The table top with extention has been restored and now matches beautifully. There are two small repairs to the top (see close ups). The black vinyl of the chairs are in excellent condition with a few small marks fom general use. The vinyl is in excellent condition, one chair has minute little marking, but these were too small to photograph successfully. One chair has a small vinyl repair - see photograph.
We would prefer not separarting the set, but if there are no intersted parties in the set we will sell the items individually.
