A gorgeous Australian made Card Table by Chiswell Furniture in teak and teak veneer - circa 1960.
 
Such a fabulous piece! We love the equisite grain and versatility of this piece.
 
Orignally designed as a card table, the table top flips open to extend into a comfortable four seater. Underneath the table top you'll find a tidy felt lined storage space for your cards or chips. But, if you're not into card games...
 
The slim design makes it the ideal kitchen/dining table for smaller living spaces, or the perfect console table for your entrance way (the secret storage space underneath would come in handy). Alternatively, add a mirror and turn it into a dresser for your spare room and when extended turn it into a large work space for those days you choose to work from home.
 
The desk top has been restored and refinished using our natural hard wax oils and looking great! The construction is sturdy, and the mechanisms work well. It displays a number of light surface marks and wear, but overall in great vintage condition.
